Both the first reading from the Prophet Isaiah and the Gospel passage from Matthew speak about the vineyard of God, for He is the creator of all things. First the overall bigger vineyard, our world and the place we live in, all is designed by God and will only produce good fruit if we all follow the ways God has planned for His creation. The second vineyard is that of our hearts and minds. If we take the time to have our hearts and minds cultivated by the Word of God, that Word will produce good fruits from within each of us. So, let us be thankful to God for the ways He works in our lives and not be anxious about things, for God is in control and knows what is best for each of us. The God of peace is definitely with us when we learn and receive all that God wishes to share with us, then God will guard our hearts and minds to be one with Him now and forever.
