The fnal words into today’s Gospel passage seem to hit home in the world we live in at this time, “When the Son of Man comes, will He fnd faith on earth?” The movement of the evil one in our world is turning so many away from the God that loves and cares for them. They seem to have no time or need for God at all in their lives. People want God to be taken out of our homes, our families, our schools or the workings of our government and society. But this can only lead to a terrible downfall and a corruption of the world as we were raised to know it. God is the creator of all things and we now more than ever need to cry out to God and ask Him to be more present in our world, for our help will only come from God to guard us, protect us, and to guide us on the right paths. If we are persistent in our prayers to God, to change the hearts of His people back to Him, God will hear and answer those prayers. Let us hope in God’s merciful love and stay close to Him.
