By our baptism we are each called to be workers in the vineyard of God in our world. There is much work to be done, especially assisting one another in our journey to heaven. God is very generous and provided each of us with the means we need to do His work and He rewards that work equally. So we call upon God to be near to us and help us each day with His abundant graces, helping our thoughts to be more like God’s thoughts and the way we live more like the way God desires us to live. This is conducting ourselves in a way that is worthy of the Gospel and sets a good example for others around us. Taking time to pray and speak to God, attending and participating in Mass, and receiving the Sacraments are all ways that help us on the journey, let us be grateful for such gifts from our generous God.
