Last week we heard about God’s generosity toward all His people, likened to the generous landowner who paid the daily wage to each worker no matter what time of day they started working. Today, we hear of God’s fairness and how He allowed His Son to suffer for each of us. We are called to look out for each other’s interests and not be self-centered but have the mind and heart of God in the ways we treat one another. Jesus humbled himself, even to the point of death on the cross, can we also humble ourselves in how we love our neighbor and care for each other? God asks of us to do His work, do we say “yes” and do it or do you put it off and then forget about it? Our faith in God and His goodness helps us to do the will of God, let us ask for this grace each day!
