Jesus is the firm Foundation

As children of God, we are rooted in the person of Jesus Christ, in His suffering, death, and resurrection. Jesus is the firm foundation and center for our lives and His greatest desire is for each of us to stay close to Him throughout our lives. This Sunday is often referred to as “Good Shepherd Sunday” for Jesus reminds us of His great love for all God’s people and He is always caring for us in our needs and helping us on the journey to eternal glory with Him. Jesus knows us and we are called to come to know Him and to follow Him wherever He may lead us. As Jesus laid down His life for us, we in turn lay down our lives for each other in mirroring the love that Jesus has for each of us. Jesus does not want to lose any of us, so let Him shepherd you and help you as beloved children of God. Peace, Fr. Fred
