New Mass Intention Policy

The following is the new policy being implemented effective November 27, 2022, the 1st Sunday of Advent, regarding scheduling Mass Intentions at Christ the King:

The parish will be limiting the number of Mass Intentions accepted for only one named person, couple, or family for the available coming year to TEN, allowing only ONE of those intentions to be scheduled once a month on a weekend or Holy Day, thus filling the available daily Mass Intentions throughout the year. This will allow for a fairer distribution of Mass Intentions being prayed during weekend Masses and on Holy Days and having the Intention prayed in a more timely manner. The parish will no longer read the name or the intention during any Mass and will continue to publish the Intention in the weekly bulletin.
