The Spirit Lifts Us Up.

God the Father and the Son sends to us the Spirit to aid us in our weaknesses and our failings. The Spirit gives to us the ability to overcome these weaknesses and failings and turn them into something good and pleasing to God. Our enemy, the devil, knows our weaknesses and continuously plants ‘weeds’ in the rich soil of our souls, trying to separate us from God. But the Spirit counter acts the evil one and through our prayers the Spirit lifs us up and preserves the good within us. Jesus’ parable teaches us that “He who sows good seed is the Son of Man, the feld is the world and the good seed the children of the kingdom.” The weeds are children of the evil one. When harvest time comes, the good and the evil ones will be separated. So let us not allow the bad seeds of the evil one to grow in us but allow Jesus to lead us on the pathway of righteousness.
