She came to the west side of the state to attend the University of Mary and graduated with her BA in Early Childhood Education and a minor in special education in the Spring of 2018. Miss Abby became interested in Montessori Education while studying abroad in Rome, her director’s wife, JoAnn Schulzetenberg, showed her the beauty of this method. Miss Abby was fortunate to return from Rome to a brand new Montessori Program at Christ the King where she completed her Early Childhood Practicum. She fell even more in love with the method through her observations and experiences with the children. Miss Abby continued on the Montessori path the summer of 2018 when she traveled down to Colorado for 8 weeks to receive her Early Childhood training at Montessori Education Center of the Rockies. Miss Abby has been an Early Childhood Guide since her training.
