Angela was born and raised in a suburb of Milwaukee, WI. After receiving a solid educational foundation as a homeschooler, she attended the University of Mary. It was in a Catholic Studies class there that Angela discovered the beauty of the Montessori Method. She completed her student teaching at Christ the King Catholic Montessori School, where she got to see the day-to-day joys and challenges of a Montessori classroom. After graduating in 2020 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Catholic Studies, Angela responded to an invitation from God to serve as a FOCUS missionary. After a year, she felt a draw to return to education and knew that she wanted to be in a Montessori school.
Angela received training from the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies (MECR) in the summer of 2021 and began teaching that fall. Angela loves laughing with the children and watching them discover the world, grow in their relationship with the Lord, and learn how to build friendships with each other.
When not at school, Angela loves to be outside riding her bike, roller blades, or skateboard. She loves to play the violin and can be seen performing in the symphony. She also loves to spend time with her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephew.
