Mrs. Cate Zweber

           Miss Cate is from Pine River, MN, but has lived in Bismarck since she attended the University of Mary. She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and Catholic Studies. She was first introduced to Montessori during her semester abroad where she saw Dr. Montessori’s first school, Casa di Bambini. Once the beauty of the method was explained to Miss Cate, she prayed for a Montessori school in the Bismarck area to open.
 
            Miss Cate has been at Christ the King since the beginning of its Montessori origins. She received her American Montessori Society credential for Early Childhood in 2017 after her courses at Montessori Education Center of the Rockies. Following her two years in the Children’s House at Christ the King, she went back to MECR and received her AMS credential for Lower Elementary in 2019. Her time in the Children’s House helped to build her knowledge of the Montessori Philosophy, and the content of Lower Elementary is a perfect fit for Miss Cate.

         As Head of Pedagogy, Miss Cate will be assisting and supporting the staff to maintain the integrity of the Montessori Method at Christ the King.
 
            When she is not preparing materials for the environment, Miss Cate enjoys spending time with her husband and new baby. She likes to read, cook, lounge in her hammock, and visit her family in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
