Miss Catherine Dion

I’m originally from Lansing, Michigan but moved to Bismarck, North Dakota to attend the University of Mary. I graduated from UMary with my BA in theology and philosophy in 2023. 

My first introduction to Montessori Education was through Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. I loved the way that the children were given more freedom in directing their education. Christ the King was the first time I got to see how Montessori Education is implemented throughout all subjects. After observing and learning more about it I have really come to love how it allows the children to go at their own pace and helps them to enjoy learning.
