Mrs. Emily Himmelspach

Emily is from New Ulm, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Mary in 2017 with a double major in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and a minor in Special Education. She then received her Lower Elementary Montessori training from the Montessori Center of the Rockies in Boulder, Colorado that same summer. In the summer of 2020, she completed her Upper Elementary Montessori training. Emily has enjoyed having a complete scope and sequence of the elementary curriculum. Her favorite aspect of Montessori education is that the method allows her to work with each child individually to give them lessons that meet their academic needs. The children are not limited by their current grade but instead able to grow in independence, knowledge, and interest with the assistance of the guide.
