According to SchoolHouse Rock, "Three is a Magic Number." Rachel hasn’t found it to be magic, but it is her favorite number because of the Most Holy Trinity and she’s the third child of eight in her family. Most of her childhood was spent in Billings, MT, where she was homeschooled until sixth grade. In 2013, she graduated from Billings Central Catholic High School (Go Rams!). She came to Bismarck to pursue an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at the University of Mary (Go Marauders!). One of her most rewarding college experiences was studying abroad in Rome, Italy, for a semester. Her first two years out of college were spent teaching fourth grade in Bowman, ND (Go Bulldogs!).
Rachel started at Christ the King Catholic Montessori School in 2019 as the Reading Interventionist and Director of Wrap Around Care. The following year she became a CGS Level I catechist to serve Children’s House students in the Atrium. She loves many aspects of Montessori education, her favorite being the community learning style. Rachel is currently pursuing a master's degree in literacy through the University of Central Arkansas and is excited to continue serving the students and families at Christ the King this school year!
