My name is Tanda Kordonowy and I'm excited to introduce myself as the Orchestra instructor at Christ the King. I am the third child of six, and was homeschooled on a farm north of Belfield, North Dakota. I began participating in music ministry at St. Bernard's Catholic Church when I was 13 and have been involved in music ministry ever since, including currently helping as a piano accompanist at Christ the King Parish on the weekends. I attended the University of Mary and graduated with a B.S. In Music Education in 2018. I am also trained in Orff Level 1. I occasionally play percussion in the Symphony and enjoy playing cello and violin, cello being my favorite string instrument! I also enjoy playing trumpet, clarinet, trombone, and guitar, among others. After teaching K-12 music in the public school system for 5 years, I am delighted to make the move to teach in a Catholic School. I enjoy creativity of all kinds, including playing and composing music, drawing, and sewing and I also love books and my cat, Raskolnikov!
